So we were stoked when the Disney princess stopped by the Young Hollywood Studio to show off her signature fragrance and discuss her interesting commercial shoot involving a giant fish tank! How would you describe your sense of style?
I’m very classic. That’s the only way to describe it. I don’t like to go overboard. Even when I do a music video, it’s very simple and casual. It’s also partially me being a little lazy.
What are you splurging on this season?
A lot of cute sweaters. Nice knit sweaters with lots of holes. I just got a really cute one—it’s oversized and I wear it over everything.
What’s your go-to spring outfit?
I love loose things, like crop tops with flowy skirts and dresses. In the summer, I don’t want anything sticking to me.
Dream Out Loud is super affordable—why is accessible style so important to you?
I know that it’s not easy to find things that are cute to wear that are cheap. Growing up, I always wanted Abercrombie, Aeropostale, and American Eagle, but I could never afford it. I wanted to make a line that was versatile, but that looked adorable and a little expensive.
How involved in the design process are you?
Very. I have such a great team and they really help me with my vision. I’m horrible at sketching. Whenever I’m describing something, I say the weirdest things and they relay it perfectly. And then I get to steal it and wear it and see if I like it. Nothing’s on the shelves that I don’t like.
Teen sensation Selena Gomez said in a video recently that her next project will be an action movie titled The Getaway with Ethan Hawke — and HollywoodLife.com has new info on the exciting thriller.
While no details about the film have been released other than the fact the production will shoot in Bulgaria, we have exclusively learned from a source that as of now there is no studio attached to the film and it’s a remake of the classic 1972 flick, which starred Steve McQueen and Ali MacGraw.
From what we know about the movie, Bieb’s main squeeze will be playing Fran — the young wife of a veterinarian who is seduced by a bank robber and then forced to go on the run with him. (At first we were freaking out that she might be Ethan’s love interest, which would just be bizarre! He’s twice her age.)
“It’s really, really exciting,” Selena said in a YouTube video to her fans.
